Diary of A Wimpy kid is a book about a kid named Greg that has a diary that he tries to hide but as the bullies in school see him with it the more they bully him.
The first book begins with an introduction to Gregory "Greg" Heffley and his middle school life. It takes place during his first year of middle school. The book also explains the "Cheese Touch" early on. It is like cooties. In the book, a kid named Darren Walsh touches the cheese with his finger. It is passed around the school, and later gets to Abe Hall, who moves to California.
Lots of funny moments happen in this book like. On Christmas he asks for a video game that he really wanted and his mom promessed him that she would get it for him. But she also bought a present for a poor person and somehow both of their gifts got mixed up so Greg got the man's present and it was a red sweater.
In his diary Greg always writes any things that happen or other things like what going on in his life . Greg writes a couple of diary's and they all turn out pretty funny , so I really suggest you read a book as funny as this one.
